Parks
     The pride of our parks system are Kiwanis Park and Lewiston Town Park at Pletcher and Lower River Road. These Town-owned parks - about three miles apart - are connected by bike/pedestrian paths along the Robert Moses Parkway and the New York State (DOT) path along Lower River Road.
     New public playgrounds are available at the above-named parks and at Sanborn Park (behind the Sanborn Fire Co.), Colonial Village Park (behind Lewiston Fire Co. #2), and at Upper Mountain Park (at Lutheran Church of the Escarpment) on Bronson at Upper Mountain Road.
     The Town maintains 11 baseball fields at Kiwanis (2), Lewiston Town Park (7), Colonial Village Park (1) and Washuta Park (one 90-foot diamond - on Model City Rd.).
     Several other State and County parks are located in the town. Artpark, Joseph Davis and Reservoir Parks are State-owned and maintained. Bonds Lake Park is operated by Niagara County. Parking fees apply during some seasons and hours at the State facilities.

Recreation
     Town of Lewiston Recreation Department sponsors a year-round schedule of both supervised activities and special events for all ages. During the Fall, Winter, and Spring we offer swimming (open/family swims and adult aerobics classes), instructional kids' basketball, open gyms for kids and families, after-school homework help/tutoring, indoor lacrosse, karate, volleyball, and other activities.
     During the Spring and Summer we sponsor Youth Baseball and outdoor lacrosse and supervised playground activities every weekday from the end of June to mid-August in five parks (see Parks Info above). Fall baseball program begins at the end of August. Playground activities include instructional tennis, basketball, swimming, and other athletic activities, arts and crafts, pre-schooler sessions, field trips, instructional chess and other games and classes in specific arts or crafts.
